What is the definition of a demo or a nearly new or a used car?
This differs by supplier and there is no official answer but the way we define it at Leasetree is:

• “Demo” cars are under 6 months old and have less than 5,000 Miles on the clock
• “Nearly new cars are less than 2.5 years old ( so still within manufacturer warranty) and with less than 25,000 miles on the clock and
• “Used cars” are over 2.5 years old and/or have more than 25,000 miles of use.

Regardless, all of these used cars promoted by Leasetree represent fantastic value and most will come with either a manufactures warranty if within the manufactures warranty period, or, in the overwhelming majority of cases a complimentary warranty.

What are the benefits of each type of used car?
Demonstrator cars with less than 5,000 miles are perfect for those who want that brand new car smell from their new vehicle but are also looking for a discount to reflect the fact that the car is not brand new.

Nearly new cars represent great value and are in demand from customers who want a car that’s still within manufactures warranty but are seriously discounted and paired with fantastic lease deals.

Used cars are also a great option, particularly when you consider that our partners take part exchange and can offer zero deposit lease deals on new and used cars plus most offer complimentary warranties if the car is outside of the manufactures warranty period. An added bonus is the significant saving that can be made which translates into lower monthly payments for lease and traditional finance deals.
